About the Concert
The programme is one of Popular Classics with all the repertoire of frequent visitors to Classic FM. Rossini and Mozart both use the antics of the scoundrel Figaro as the basis of their popular operas.
In the 1st half of our programme, Rossini and Mozart’s two overtures frame the ever-popular Pavane by Faure and Beethoven’s Romance in F for violin featuring West Bridgford soloist Annabel Stevens. We conclude our 2nd concert with Beethoven’s much-loved 4th Symphony.

Note About Tickets
We've decided to do things slightly differently this time, we'll be switching to a "first come first served basis" regarding ticketing on the day. This should help get people seated more quickly. When you buy your ticket(s) you'll not be assigned a seat number instead you'll be able to choose your seat on arrival (we'll reserve some seating at the front for people who are hard of hearing, just tell us at the door on the day).
Depending on feedback after February's concert we'll then decide which method is preferred and adjust accordingly for future concerts.
